The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), led by Abdulrahman Mohammed, is currently meeting with state chairmen to strengthen and finalise the party’s strategies ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting marks the first public engagement between the NWC and state chairmen since the nomination of the party’s candidates for various state elections.

Prominent party officials attending the meeting include National Chairman Senator Samuel Anyanwu, National Organising Secretary Umar Bature and other members of the party leadership.

The state chairmen are being led by Imo State PDP Chairman, Austin Nwachukwu.

The meeting is expected to focus on preparations for the forthcoming elections and strategies to improve the party’s readiness ahead of the 2027 polls.
