The Northern Youth Frontiers has described the large turnout at President Bola Tinubu’s campaign rally in Kaduna as a strong indication of continued confidence in his leadership across Northern Nigeria.
The coalition, made up of youth organisations from the 19 Northern states, also reaffirmed its support for Tinubu’s bid for re-election in 2027.
The group commended the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, for his efforts in mobilising supporters at the grassroots ahead of the Kaduna rally.
In a statement congratulating the President on the success of the event, the North-West Coordinator of the group, Saminu Turaki, said the massive crowd reflected the level of support Tinubu enjoys in the region.
Turaki described the Kaduna rally as a clear demonstration of what he called the “love, confidence and overwhelming support” that many people in Northern Nigeria continue to have for President Tinubu’s leadership and vision.
He also appreciated the traditional rulers, community leaders and residents who turned out for the rally, saying their participation was a strong show of solidarity and support for President Tinubu.
The coalition further applauded Senator Abdulaziz Yari for what it described as his effective leadership and strong organisational abilities, noting that his grassroots mobilisation efforts had generated renewed enthusiasm among youths across the Northern region.
According to Turaki, Yari’s strategic approach, practical leadership and consistent engagement at the grassroots have once again demonstrated his ability to mobilise people and promote political unity across the North.
